MANCHESTER, NH. (October 27, 2016): In honor of Veteran’s Day, EPE Corporation, a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB) Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) company, makes a difference in the lives of local veterans by providing a donation to Veterans Count of NH.
EPE conducted a company-wide 50/50 raffle with half of the proceeds and a free vacation day awarded to the raffle winner. The remaining half of the proceeds (plus a matching donation from EPE) was donated to Veterans Count. The raffle winner was Cindy Dwyer, a 30 year employee of EPE.
“EPE has supported Veterans Count for a few years now, but we wanted to do something different this year in honor of Veteran’s Day,” comments James “JD” Bell, Jr., President and CEO of EPE Corporation. “This raffle was a way to financially support Veteran’s Count, spread the word about how Veterans Count assists our local veterans, as well as offer a fun program for our employees,” he adds.

This award, presented by Damon Kennison, Sr. Mgr., Supply Assurance and Dan Barton, V.P. of Mfg/Production Services of QinetiQ, reads “To EPE – For Your Commitment To Being A Partner In Our Success”.
“To receive an award like this from a customer such as QinetiQ is an honor. MANCHESTER, NH. (August 30, 2016): EPE Corporation, industry experts in high-reliability Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) since 1965, has donated backpacks and school supplies to Jewett Street Elementary School.
“We know that buying school supplies is expensive and can be a struggle for many parents, so EPE decided to pitch in,” says James “JD” Bell, Jr., President and CEO of EPE Corporation. “Our employees were very generous and donated brand new backpacks as well as basic school supplies every elementary school student needs,” he added.
“We appreciate all of these new backpacks and school supplies the EPE employees donated,” notes Peter Lubelczyk, Principal of Jewett Street Elementary School, “With approximately 400 students in our school, these supplies will be put to good use.”
This backpack and school supply donation drive is part of an ongoing community-oriented campaign celebrating EPE Corporation’s 50 years in business. This donation drive is just one of many events EPE Corporation organizes throughout the year in order to support its community. MANCHESTER, NH. (April 5, 2016): James “JD” D. Bell, Jr., President and CEO of EPE Corporation, presents a check to Manchester Memorial’s FIRST Robotics Team 238. Accepting the check are Hunter Davies, Team 238 Member; and Tom Paquin, Team 238 Coach and Mentor.
Team 238 recently placed 2nd at the Granite State District Event in Windham, NH and placed 1st in the North Carolina UNC Asheville District competition. This past weekend, they competed in the Boston FIRST Robotics Competition District Event and made the finals. Team 238 was ranked 2nd out of 40 teams. The team also won the Quality Award, which celebrates machine robustness in concept and fabrication.Continue reading
